is a new group I've created for professional level comic art and artists. The creation of this group has been inspired by two things:

I. First, my disappointment with many of the comic groups here on DeviantArt: I've joined several comic art groups, excited about each and every one that seemed promising and featured great art in their galleries, only to see the group go down hill after a few weeks and begin to fill their gallery with ultra low quality comic art forcing me to remove them from my watch list and leave the group or be flooded with art done by what looks to be elementary age students.

II. Second, my love of the group who's high standards and quality art are honorable and breathtaking. I've admired their dedication to bringing mainly exceptional digital art into their inspiring gallery (there are a few lower quality pieces that slip in, but for the most part the quality of their gallery is top notch).

And so my desire was born to bring similar quality and standards into the comic book community. With #PrimeComicArt I hope to uphold those standards and build a gallery and membership base that is an inspiration to aspiring comic book artists.

For now I wish to keep my identity secret as I'm the only one right now voting on incoming gallery art and do not wish to gain drama and/or hate mail on my main account. So until I add a couple of admins to help me vote on and moderate incoming art and members, I will keep my identity secret for the time being.
